The Artists...
Laurence Broderick ARBS FRSA Sculptor
In his figurative and abstract, bronze and
stone sculpture, Laurence Broderick draws inspiration from the
female figure and wildlife, in particular the otter
and endangered species. When learning of the plight of turtles,
polar bears, rhinos and elephants due to man's abuse, it had
a profound and emotive effect on expressing his art.

Sion Eleri Photographer
Sion
was born in 1963, in North
Wales. Having always enjoyed picture-taking, it was whilst
doing a degree in Welsh at Bangor University that she
started taking photography more seriously.
This interest came and went
throughout her twenties and thirties, and then she became
newly inspired with the advent of digital photography.

Neil Graham-Cameron Photographer
When in a search for inspiration, Neil
‘browses’ common locations, town or country,
and searches for close objects which have attracted him by
their shape or colours. Optionally, seeing a more distant
object from a new angle or visualising it cropped to
emphasise a finely judged curve or shadow line.
Occasionally, he succumbs to what he describes as chocolate
box images – pretty shots – nevertheless, with
some soul!

Hilary Gretton Painter
Hilary's studio is on a rural road in Bourn village, where she lives and
works. She uses oils and acrylics to explore how light, shadow and the
changing seasons profoundly alters familiar views from day to day and
season to season. Her love of trees is evident, both in her realistic
and her imaginary work.

Craig Kerrecoe Painter
Craig Kerrecoe uses colour as a way
of abstractly studying and understanding his actions,
reactions and interactions with those around him. Pursuing
a relatively simple ‘flesh against machine’ metaphor, using
nothing more than wallpaper scrapers, he scrapes paint onto
each canvas, layer after layer, as if removing these layers
from his own ‘self’.

Kaine Kulczak Urban Artist
The work of Peterborough-based Urban Artist Kaine Kulczak employs
multi-layered stencil techniques to create utterly contemporary and
frequently iconographic images. Guns and skulls and rock stars are all
fair game for an urban artist but Kulczak tackles architecture, the
built environment and urbanity too with skill and deference.

John Lyons Painter & Poet
The Caribbean-born Artist and Poet John Lyons often relies upon the rich
vernacular folklore and mythology of his homeland to conjure up images
of such immense power that you can hardly take your eyes off them. Lyons
describes his work as an 'ambivalent pleasure' and a 'playful dialogue'
but they are much more than that.

Jo Tunmer Painter
There is a tangible, almost potent sense of solitude in the landscapes
painted by the renowned Cambridge Artist Jo Tunmer. Slightly abstracted
and boasting strong, bright colours, these paintings evoke the imaginary
memory of a blustery summer afternoon in some remote landscape.
